Site Map ©2008 Gotham Elevator Inspection	ELEVATOR TESTING Annual Elevator Inspections (Local Law 10/81) • We will perform Inspections required to determine that the existing equipment conforms with the applicable code requirements. Two-Year, No-Load Safety Tests • We will test car safety with no load inside the elevator car. Five-Year, Full-Load Tests • We will test car safety with rated load in the elevator car. Hydraulic Pressure Tests • The relief valve setting will be tested to determine conformance with the applicable requirements. Qualified Elevator Inspection (QEI) • We are qualified to attend inspections and tests outside of the five boroughs of New York City on the behalf of local jurisdictions which recognize the ANSI/ASME QEI-1. CONSULTING Expert witness testimony • A thorough analysis of your insurance program will minimize potential exposures. In the event of an accident or injury, our consultants will conduct a complete investigation and provide expert testimony if required. Preventive maintenance evaluations • We will examine your elevator maintenance contract and perform site inspections to determine if your preventive maintenance company is performing it’s duties as per your contract. Equipment audits • We will examine your current elevator equipment and make recommendations as to which components need upgrading or replacement.
